Delete your Open Agent account

You can do this yourself in the app in under a minute. If you've already uninstalled it, use the form at the bottom of this page.

Delete it in the app

This deletes the account immediately — no email, no waiting.

  1. 1Open the Open Agent app and sign in.
  2. 2Go to the Profile tab, then tap the gear icon for Settings.
  3. 3Tap Privacy & Legal, then Delete Account.
  4. 4Read what gets removed, type DELETE to confirm, and tap Delete my account permanently.

You can also reach the same screen from Settings → Account → Delete Account, or from Help & Support.

Erased permanently

  • Name, email, phone, date of birth, ZIP code and brokerage
  • Your bio, profile photo and social links
  • Every real estate license and license image you uploaded
  • Notifications, push devices and your blocked-agents list
  • Your login — the account is removed, not deactivated

Kept, but anonymized

  • Payment, escrow and tax records, for 7 years, as IRS rules require
  • Reviews you wrote — they belong to the agent they describe
  • Messages in completed showings, which are the other agent's record too

None of it carries your name any more. See Privacy Policy §7 for the full retention schedule.

Handled for you

  • Your subscription is cancelled as part of the deletion, so you are never billed again.
  • Listings you posted but haven't filled are cancelled.
  • Applications you sent that are still waiting are withdrawn.

One thing has to be settled first

If a showing is already assigned and paid for, or money is sitting in escrow, the app asks you to finish or cancel it before deleting. That protects the agent on the other side of the deal — and your payout. The app tells you exactly what is outstanding.

No longer have the app

Request deletion by email

Tell us the email you signed up with. We'll write back to confirm it's you before deleting anything — a web form can't prove account ownership on its own. Expect a reply within one business day, and deletion within 30 days of your confirmation.
